  • Access to the programme reading materials and examination area.
  • Clear instructions on how to begin the programme.
  • A calendar schedule for the weekly live tutorials.
  • A PDF coursebook for offline study.
  • Invitations to the live weekly tutorials tailored to the group, using relevant case studies.
  • Complimentary access to the Lafferty Daily Briefing on retail banking and payments for the duration of the programme.

The study commitment we recommend for candidates

Candidates should allow approximately three to four hours of preparation each week before the live tutorial, in order to carefully read through and understand the material for each module.  This preparation ensures that the live tutorials can focus on discussion, application, case studies and practical questions.

Are you registering a team?

The Retail Banking Institute can enrol groups of candidates from the same institution. If you wish to do this, we will organise to tailor tutorials to your group’s priorities, market context and strategic challenges, while remaining grounded in international best practice. We will contact you to organise some brief interviews with your head of learning, HR team, or head of retail banking.

Why register with the Retail Banking Institute?

The Retail Banking Institute provides international retail banking qualifications designed around the realities of today’s banking market: digital transformation, rising expectations of an excellent customer experience, maintaining an excellent risk culture that follows three lines of defence principles, excellence in data analytics, preparation for branch transformation, and the need for a robust leadership pipeline – and a common language or customer-centricity from the top to the bottom of the bank. The programmes combine structured study with live tutorial discussion, helping candidates apply global best practice to their own institution and market.
