CIRB Level 1: Affiliate International Retail Banker

The Affiliate International Retail Banker programme is RBI's entry-level retail banking qualification and is designed for people who run the bank on a day-to-day basis, such as salespeople or marketing people, people working in operations, or credit risk officers. This programme is designed for busy professionals, and can be taken over the course of ten weeks with a requirement of 6 to 10 hours per week to cover reading, study, tutorials and exams.

CIRB Level 2: Associate International Retail Banker

The Associate International Retail Banker is RBI's programme for people managing teams or products and services in retail banking: you are the ones charged with changing the bank. We cover Advanced Customer Management, AI and Analytics, Advanced Operations and IT, Fintech Journeys and Fintech Revolution, Product Management, People Management, Collections and Recoveries and Advanced Retail Credit Risk.

CIRB Level 3: Certified International Retail Banker

Certified International Retail Banker programme is designed for senior executives already serving or planning to serve in management roles. Candidates receive reading material each week that separately cover Governance, ESG and Sustainability, Risk Leadership, Building a Modern Customer-Centric Digital Retail Bank, Leadership, Brand Management, and Asset and Liability Management. Once candidates have prepared themselves with the reading material, they join a weekly online interactive small group tutorials led by our specialist instructors. The programme runs by continual assessment, and each week, candidates complete a mini-exam following each module. This high level programme runs for seven consecutive weeks from Wednesday 17 September 2025.
